Chairman of the Integrated Marketing Communications Council of Europe
“I would like to start my tenure as Chair firstly by thanking Alvaro Ales for the new initiatives made by the IMCC, as well as for his hard work over the last two years. Alvaro is going to be a tough act to follow and I could do worse than to focus on building on the initiatives he introduced in his period as Chairman.
“Firstly in education; the newly-launched IMCC International Diploma in Promotional Marketing will be promoted by our member countries to agency personnel in our industry, ensuring we continue to raise the bar on our already high professional standards. Secondly, in information and communication; our challenge will be to continue to build awareness of our initiatives on a wider European stage and to set the highest pan-European quality standards. And finally in recognition; recognition of excellence in effective creativity by continuing to raise the quality, as well as the number of entries from member countries, to our IMCC awards and by showcasing our best campaigns on a world stage.”
