Nathalie Erdmanis Director Strategic Marketing & Branding AG Insurance
After finishing her Master’s Degree in Commercial Engineering at Solvay Business School (ULB) in Brussels, Nathalie started her career at Danone (dairy products) as Brand Marketer. Then, she worked for Winterthur Europe Assurances (AXA group) and later for Spa and Bru mineral water provider, Spadel s.a. She has been working for McDonald’s as Marketing & Communications Director during 7 years then she moved to the Telco industry as Marketing Director Residential at Mobistar (Orange Group). Then, she joined the Belgian Airline Company, Brussels Airlines, as VP Marketing. Now she is Director of Strategic Marketing, Branding & Data Analytics at AG Insurance (Ageas Group). During her career, Nathalie has received awards such as Nominated Marketer of the year in 2009 & 2016, Media Advertiser of the year 2009, and won a long term Silver Effie Award for McDonald’s in 2012.
 
Dave Froidcoeur Head of Marketing activations, CARREFOUR Belgium
Dave is an experienced Marketing Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the supermarkets industry. He’s skilled in Marketing Management, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Retail, Trade Marketing, and Store Management. Dave has 13 years' experience as a retail and marketing specialist in Carrefour. He started his career in the stores as manager in as well food as non-food departments. After 4 years in sales he joined the concept team and worked on the marketing aspect of the renovation of the 45 Hypermarkets. 3 years later he joined the marketing team for the Hypermarkets as manager of the instore Marketing department. Since January Dave became responsible for all the Marketing Activations for the Hypermarkets (45 stores and 8500 employees). Besides running at Carrefour, Dave enjoys running as sports and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters in the lovely city of Tienen.
 
Tom Moons Marketing Director, SOS Children Villages
Tom Moons (39) has a degree in business science with a focus on marketing. In 2000, he started his career in advertising, working as account director for different brands like Toyota, Playstation, Inbev and Coca-Cola. In 2007, Tom became father of two adoptive children from Ethiopia. This made him decide to invest his energy in giving orphaned children a home and future, also in his professional life. End of 2009, Tom started at SOS Children’s Villages Belgium, to develop corporate fundraising and external communications. In 2013, SOS Children’s Villages Belgium won 2 golden IMC awards with their 99%-ad, a creative and successful campaign which convinced captains of industry to support the organization.
 
Stephan Smets Managing Director, ENGAGE BBDO
Stephan is Managing Director and Co-founder of ENGAGE BBDO, a member agency of the BBDO Worldwide Network, specialised in brand activation and customer engagement. He started his career at Nestlé where he was responsible for instant drinks (Nescafé, Nesquik) and was later co-founder of N’lil, one of the first sales promotion agencies. He is former president of the Belgian Association of Communications Companies-Expert Center Brand Activation and is now board member of the European IMC council. Stephan Smets is a guest speaker at different marketing and advertising institutions such as the Belgian Marketing Fund, VLEKHO, Ghent University, Plato, 360° Academy and Student Marketing Congress and teaches at the UBA Academy (Federation of Belgian advertisers).
 
Bart Swings Brand and Marketing Communications manager, EDF LUMINUS
With a master in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven and a DESS in Marketing at the University of Clermont-Ferrand in France, Bart started his career in the FMCG-sector with Colgate-Palmolive accumulating experience in sales and marketing as Product manager, Key Account manager and Group Product manager for brands as Tahiti, Pouss’Mousse, Palmolive, Soupline, Ajax and La Croix. In 2000, after 8 years, he moved on to mobile operator Mobistar (Orange Group) to take up roles in Trade and Channel marketing. As Head of prepaid acquisition and later Head of loyalty and retention he then returned to his marketing passion and launched in 2005 the youth brand Tempo Music, a successful collaboration with Universal Music. In 2006 he moved to the energy sector as a Marketing Communications manager for EDF Luminus. Until today he makes sure the brand Luminus takes on the role as main challenger in the liberalized energy market.

David is CEO of Momentum Prague, an advertising agency (part of McCann Worldgroup in the Czech Republic) focused on integrated campaigns supporting clients’ sales. Prior to joining Momentum in 2008, he was founder and co-owner of a leading local agency in Prague. During his 18 years in the advertising industry, he has worked for more than 100 clients from many different business sectors in the Czech Republic. David holds an Executive MBA degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management based in Phoenix, Arizona and a MBA degree from CMI ESMA Barcelona based in Prague and Barcelona.

Michelle is a Creative Director at Garp Integrated, working mailny on Unilever, Mondelez, Pepsi, KFC, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Odkolek, Sportisimo, Bell, Zdravotní Klaun and Homepark accounts. Before joining Garp Integrated, she was a Creative Director at Blacktag + Flying Factory, Arnold Prague, Euro RSCG4D Prague, Windrman Prague, and a Creative Leader at Grey Prague.
 
Ondrej Gottwald New Business Director, g-in*
Ondrej works as New Business Director at g-in* agency in Prague. He has been working in advertising for over 16 years. During his career, Ondrej worked in the creative department of TBWA Prague and of Wunderman, part of Young&Rubicam. In 2000, he co-founded the strategic and creative agency Garp, which specialises in integrated marketing and digital communication. For the first 5 years, Ondrej worked there as a Strategic Planner and has now taken over the Business Development department.

Peter has been GREYshopper's CEO & Managing Director since July 2012. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of FREY.G2 since 2000 (now GREYgermany). He is a certified Category Manager by GS1 Germany/ECR standards and management boards member of GREYgermany. In 2013, he was elected President of the POS-Marketing Association e.V. (POSMA), the interest group of Germany‘s leading POS marketing agencies. The POSMA is also the national representative of EACA's Integrated Marketing Council (IMC) in Brussels. Beyond these duties, he is also an author of various magazine articles and comments, co-author of "Handbuch Shopper-Marketing" and university lecturer for POS communication and retail.

Previously, he was Management Supervisor at VCCP in Berlin. He has worked with clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Heineken, Sky, Ferrero, O2 and Telefonica Since 2012, he’s the Managing Director of smartin advertising based in Cologne and Berlin. It’s a below-the-line specialised multichannel agency with a holistic focus on sales and point-of-sale communications. He mainly works with O2, TARGOBANK, LG, Brother and SONOS.

Efi Dikastopoulou Group Account Director, Wunderman
Efi has over 25 years of experience working in different management positions in both marketing and advertising. She has overseen a vast number of projects and products, from FMCG to cosmetics, from banking to telecommunications. Efi started her career in advertising at JWT Athens. From 1993 till 1997, she was employed at Spot Thompson Direct as Client Service Director. She then joined "Sarantis Group of Companies" as Marketing Manager for kids clothing brand Marasil. Upon the sale of the company, she transferred to Estee Lauder as Marketing Manager of the Aramis brand line. Efi joined Wunderman in March 2005 as Account Director on the Citibank account. She took on a management role mid July 2016. Efi is experienced in offering strategic marketing solutions and creating effective 360 plans which generate efficient, award-winning campaigns.

Emma Ross MD, Runway
Emma has over 12 years experience in the marketing industry. Starting her career in PR and Media Relations, she worked with clients including Sony PlayStation, AIB on their sponsorship of The Ryder Cup and Centra. Emma moved to a broader marketing role in 2012, joining Runway Marketing and working with clients including Bulmers Irish Cider, Corona, Brady Family Ham and Lindt. After spending time in Verve the Live Agency, Emma returned to Runway as Managing Director in January 2017. Alvaro Alés Managing Director, 360º Marketing & Communications
Alvaro Ales has worked as marketer at some of the best known companies in the spirits industry until he founded a Marketing & Communications agency. For 5 years, he was in the Marketing department of Diageo, first in London working for brands such as Croft, Gonzalez Byass and later in Spain for J&B Scotch Whisky. Alvaro also worked for 4 years for Pernod Ricard where he was responsible for marketing brands such as Larios Gin, Jameson and Wild Turkey amongst others. He worked briefly in the telecoms industry as Marketing Vice-President for Telefonica B2B, and then became Marketing Director of Bodegas Luis Caballero, a well-known wine and spirits company in Spain. Eugeni Brotons Global Marketing Director, GONZALEZ BYASS
Eugeni Brotóns Cuixart is the current Global Marketing Director at González Byass (International group in the wine and spirits industry), a role that he has held since 2009. A graduate from the ESADE Business School, he also gained an MBA from the same institution. His marketing experience began in the spirits industry, in Martini and Bacardi, from where he went on the work for Diageo. Following his stint there he join the wine company Miguel Torres where he occupied the position of International Marketing Director. Juan de los Angeles Chairman & CEO C4E Consulting Services
Juan de los Angeles is a Professor of the School of Communication of the University of Navarra. His research is mainly focused on creativity and innovation and currently teaches “Introduction to Advertising" and “Marketing Trends". Professor De los Angeles earned his doctorate degree in 1994 with a thesis on the Evaluation of Advertising Creativity. He has published numerous works and articles on advertising creativity and commercial communications, mostly addressed to advertising professionals. In 2002, along with eight other professionals, founded C4E Consulting Services, and education company that aims to provide continuous education and applied research to marketing and communication professionals, both in Spain and Latin America. He presently shares his teaching and research commitments with his management and consulting responsibilities in C4E, where he's been working for some of the most prestigious companies in the industry, mostly on the fields of creative direction, innovation management, creative leadership, and industry trends.
 
Esther Gutierrez Marketing Manager, BODEGAS BARBADILLO
Esther was born in Seville in 1983 and have been passionate about advertising since she can remember. She graduated in Advertising and Public Relations and holds a Master's Degree in Marketing Direction and Sales Management. She has more than ten years experience in areas such as retail, fashion and beverage, this last one being where she has developed the core of her career. During this time she has made a valuable contribution to Spanish wine companies as Marqués de Riscal and Barbadillo, where she has been working for three years.
 
Carlos Rubio General Manager, AEACP
Carlos was born in Madrid and he has a degree in law and a diploma in marketing and commercial management, recently complemented with a master degree in digital business. He is part of the board of National Directors from the European Association (EACA) as well as member of the Executive Committee of the Association of the self-regulation of the communication business. In addition to General Manager of the AEACP Carlos Rubio deals with the management of El Sol Festival. El Festival Iberoamericano de la Comunicación Publicitaria, leading festival among Spanish and Portuguese speakers. For many years, he has collaborated continuously with numerous universities and advertising and marketing schools training attendants in these matters. Prior to joining to the Spanish Association of Advertising Agencies he developed his professional career in both public and private companies.

Paul Cope Managing Director, IPM
Following a career spanning over 20 years in some of London’s top creative agencies, Paul is the current managing director of the IPM – an industry body dedicated to promoting, progressing and protecting its member agencies and brand owners engaged in all aspects of brand activation. Paul began his career in account management at integrated shop Joshua, before heading up accounts at agencies such as iris, Saatchi & Saatchi and Space, as well as running the Starbucks onsite agency team for Oliver. Paul is an evangelical advocate of ‘better creativity’ – marketing communication that moves people and delivers great results – and is working with the IPM’s members to help them deliver exactly that.
 
Mike Dando European Marketing Mgr, Epson
Mike has worked in various roles both client and agency-side building up over 20 years’ experience in the process. He worked in various marketing roles at Royal Mail before moving agency side in Dublin and London working on clients included O2, Philips, Samsung, Centrica and Danone. For the last six years Mike has been heading up the campaigns, promotions and media planning and buying for Epson across EMEA.
 
Peter Kerr Managing Director, MRM
Peter is Managing Director of Multi Resource Marketing Ltd (MRM). His career in Promotional Marketing goes back to the early 80's and he has a rare combination of experience having spent this time working within client, agency and fulfillment organisations. He founded MRM in 1993 and has only recently led this organisation into the HighCo Group where he hopes to fulfill his long held ambition of creating with HighCo a truly European capability across a wide range of promotional marketing techniques and logistics. Peter has sat on the EACA judging panel before as well as being an IPM Awards panel chairman each year, he is also an IPM Diploma examiner for the IPM Education panel. In addition our annual awards were recovered from Haymarket and successfully re-branded year on year and, to bridge the gap in our marketing press coverage, took control of Sales Promotion magazine and with the services sector very much in mind Peter introduced the ISP Certificate, the “Making it Happen awards” (now COGS) and was instrumental in the ARM accreditation scheme.
 
Andrew Rae Director of Promotional Marketing, Black Tomato
Andrew is a seasoned marketeer with over a decade of experience in Promotional Marketing. Responsible for Promotional Marketing and the creative output of The Black Tomato Agency, he works with brands such as Airbnb, William Grant and the BBC and agencies alike, advising and delivering cutting edge, effective global promotional campaigns. With proven experience in curating money can’t buy travel experiences and brand infused activations, he has led Black Tomato to win Gold, Silver and Bronze for two years running in the Prize, Incentive & Reward category at the IPM COGS Awards, a feat never before achieved. Previously he held positions at brand experience agency Momentum, working with UPS to activate their London 2012 Olympic sponsorship platform. He is also a Board Director at The Institute of Promotional Marketing, as well as an IPM awards judge and a Chair for the IPM COGS.

Marcus has 19 years' experience as a retail and brand marketing specialist. His broad range of experience includes working on clients such as Nokia, Tesco, BBC, Reckitt Benckiser and S.C. Johnson. In addition to his responsibilities as CEO at Haygarth, Marcus oversees the agency’s financial planning, new business development and is key in maintaining the overall culture of the agency. When Marcus isn’t running Haygarth, he is a family man with three kids and lives in London.
