Nele Baeyens MEDIALAAN
After graduating from KU Leuven with a degree in Communications and a Marketing degree from VLEKHO, Nele began her career as Retail Coordinator at the mobile telecommunications operator, Mobistar. In 2001, her passion for media inspired her to start at Sanoma Magazines Belgium as Product Manager Flair, Belgium's largest weekly magazine for young women. Along the way, she also held the position of National Product Manager Flair and Marketing Communications Manager Family at the media group. After 14 years in print media, Nele took the next step in her career and swapped print media for television. In February 2015 she became Head of Marketing Communications TV at multimedia company MEDIALAAN. With her experience and passion for building strong brands, she is now responsible for the corporate brand MEDIALAAN and television brands VTM, 2BE, Vitaya, VTMKZOOM, VTM Koken.
 
Delphine Baise Head of Sponsoring, Events & Field Communication, ING
Delphine is Head of Sponsoring, Events & Field Communication at ING Belgium. She is in charge of sponsoring strategy, negotiations, contracts, planning & budget, evaluation, relations with organisers, brand activation on events, brand visibility and many more. Next to sponsoring, she is also responsible for ING's presence on all mass events (fairs, festivals, sports events, business events, etc.) and for all field activities (guerilla marketing, buzz, street marketing, etc.).
 
Nathalie Erdmanis Vice-President Marketing, Brussels Airlines
After finishing her Master’s Degree in Commercial Engineering at Solvay Business School (ULB) in Brussels, Nathalie started her career at Danone as Brand Marketer. She then went on to work for Winterthur Europe Assurances (AXA group) and later for Spa and Bru mineral water provider, Spadel s.a.. She worked for McDonald's as Marketing & Communications Director for 7 years then she moved to the Telco industry as Marketing Director Residential at Mobistar (Orange Group). Now she is VP Marketing at Brussels Airlines. During her career, Nathalie has received awards such as Nominated Marketer of the Year in 2009 and Media Advertiser of the Year 2009 and won a long term Silver Effie Award for McDonald's in 2012.
 
Tom Moons Marketing Director, SOS Children Villages
Tom Moons (39) has a degree in business science with a focus on marketing. In 2000, he started his career in advertising, working as account director for different brands like Toyota, Playstation, Inbev and Coca-Cola. In 2007, Tom became father of two adoptive children from Ethiopia. This made him decide to invest his energy in giving orphaned children a home and future, also in his professional life. End of 2009, Tom started at SOS Children’s Villages Belgium, to develop corporate fundraising and external communications. In 2013, SOS Children’s Villages Belgium won 2 golden IMC awards with their 99%-ad, a creative and successful campaign which convinced captains of industry to support the organization.
 
Stephan Smets Managing Director, ENGAGE BBDO
Stephan is Managing Director and Co-founder of ENGAGE BBDO, a member agency of the BBDO Worldwide Network, specialised in brand activation and customer engagement. He started his career at Nestlé where he was responsible for instant drinks (Nescafé, Nesquik) and was later co-founder of N’lil, one of the first sales promotion agencies. He is former president of the Belgian Association of Communications Companies-Expert Center Brand Activation and is now board member of the European IMC council. Stephan Smets is a guest speaker at different marketing and advertising institutions such as the Belgian Marketing Fund, VLEKHO, Ghent University, Plato, 360° Academy and Student Marketing Congress and teaches at the UBA Academy (Federation of Belgian advertisers).
 
Bart Swings Brand and Marketing Communications manager, EDF LUMINUS
With a master in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven and a DESS in Marketing at the University of Clermont-Ferrand in France, Bart started his career in the FMCG-sector with Colgate-Palmolive accumulating experience in sales and marketing as Product manager, Key Account manager and Group Product manager for brands as Tahiti, Pouss’Mousse, Palmolive, Soupline, Ajax and La Croix. In 2000, after 8 years, he moved on to mobile operator Mobistar (Orange Group) to take up roles in Trade and Channel marketing. As Head of prepaid acquisition and later Head of loyalty and retention he then returned to his marketing passion and launched in 2005 the youth brand Tempo Music, a successful collaboration with Universal Music. In 2006 he moved to the energy sector as a Marketing Communications manager for EDF Luminus. Until today he makes sure the brand Luminus takes on the role as main challenger in the liberalized energy market.

Marek Řídký CEO Underline
Marek has been working in the field for 16 years. First, he started working for BTL agencies and spent 3 years as a Client Service Director at Leo Burnett. He started Underline agency in 2003 and is its director. He writes for specialized media, speaks at conferences and is a specialist, particularly in retail, financial services and motivational and loyalty programs. He and his team has won a variety of awards in CZ and abroad (including gold at the IMC AWARDS).
 
Ondrej Gottwald New Business Director, g-in*
Ondrej works as New Business Director at g-in* agency in Prague. He has been working in advertising for over 16 years. During his career, Ondrej worked in the creative department of TBWA Prague and of Wunderman, part of Young&Rubicam. In 2000, he co-founded the strategic and creative agency Garp, which specialises in integrated marketing and digital communication. For the first 5 years, Ondrej worked there as a Strategic Planner and has now taken over the Business Development department.

Martin Pešta is in charge of Czech operation of Geometry Global, the largest activation network worldwide and a WPP company. Martin Tosenovský Director, Leemon
At only 21, Martin founded his own network of agencies - LEEMON. It was just after he had been awarded a prize for graphic design in the Czech Republic in 2001. He graduated from Tomas Bata University in Zlín with a degree in Multimedia and Design. Nowadays, his services are widely used by important personalities and multinational companies when making key decisions in their strategic planning. (POSMA), the interest group of Germany‘s leading POS marketing agencies. The POSMA is also the national representative of EACA's Integrated Marketing Council (IMC) in Brussels. Andrea Cornelli CEO, Ketchum
Born in 1962, he began his professional career in 1981 and founded C&T, one of the first Italian company dedicated to design information and communication technology systems. He get in touch in 1986 with RP Partners (later Ketchum Italy), a leading PR agency which he began to collaborate with since 1988. In 1994 he gained control over Telemacus, a company operating in the Digital Market Strategy business became CEO in 1998. He gained specialist expertise that will lead him to become President in 2003 and later also CEO of Ketchum Italy. In 2013 he has been appointed Global Partner of the Ketchum international network. Marzia Curone Partner, Relata and Innexa
Marzia graduated from the University of Pavia with a degree in Political Science where she focused her research on how to measure return on advertising investments. Alvaro Alés Managing Director, 360º Marketing & Communications
Alvaro Ales has worked as marketer at some of the best known companies in the spirits industry until he founded a Marketing & Communications agency. For 5 years, he was in the Marketing department of Diageo, first in London working for brands such as Croft, Gonzalez Byass and later in Spain for J&B Scotch Whisky. Alvaro also worked for 4 years for Pernod Ricard where he was responsible for marketing brands such as Larios Gin, Jameson and Wild Turkey amongst others. He worked briefly in the telecoms industry as Marketing Vice-President for Telefonica B2B, and then became Marketing Director of Bodegas Luis Caballero, a well-known wine and spirits company in Spain. Quim Calaf Global Director, Contrapunto BBDO
After graduating in Business Management at ESADE, he worked in consulting and marketing positions: Cap Gemini, BASF, and Deutsche Bank. In 2000 he started working at Orbital, a BBDO digital agency based in Barcelona. At that time almost a Startup with 15 people! Orbital evolved fast into a digital and CRM agency and he lead the growth of the company until 2008 when they merged with ad agency Contrapunto Barcelona, to create a fully integrated agency leading the Spanish Market in customer satisfaction. During this period he's had the opportunity to lead an integrated team working with the best brands in Spain, across all sectors.
 
Jesús Lada Creative Director, Leo Burnett
Jesus has extensive international experience in the advertising industry, having worked in places such as London, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Madrid, formed in prestigious agencies like Ruiz Nicoli, JungVonMatt or Strawberryfrog. Started at Contrapunto BBDO in 2002 until 2004 and returns to America, where he was named associate creative director at The Vidal Partnership, New York from 2004 until 2007. In 2007 worked at El Laboratorio, starting as Creative Director and becoming the Executive Creative Director of the agency. From 2014 he is the Executive Creative Director of Leo Burnett Madrid  working for Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, Nivea, Playstation, DIA%, AXA, Fiat or Heineken.
 
Iñaki Martí Creative Director, Leo Burnett
Iñaki holds a Double Degree in Advertising and Interdisciplinary Visual Arts from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. 17 years ago, he started as a web designer and flash animator but later switched to digital copywriter due to a lack of specialized talent. He’s helped build digital units in agencies such as Shackleton, Grey or DoubleYou Madrid. For the last 10 years he’s been leading creative teams in different agencies performing all kinds of interactive work. During the last 7 he’s worked also on integrated campaigns. Today he leads a team of mixed talent at Leo Burnett Iberia.
 
Beto Nahmad Executive Creative Director, VCCP
Beto Nahmad was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a Media Technician, and studied Film and Advertising in the port city of Buenos Aires. He began his career in Agulla and Baccetti, then he moved to Barcelona where he worked in some of the world’s most important agencies, including: Publicis Casadevall & Pedreño, Tandem DDB, JWT and Delvico. After eight years in Barcelona he moved to Madrid to work in DRAFTFCB as Executive Creative Director and Director of Innovation Team where he developed digital campaigns, experiential marketing and branded content. He recently founded with VCCP SPAIN, partner with VCCP, one of the top 3 agencies in the UK. In just one year VCCP SPAIN was the most awarded spanish agency in Cannes Lions.

Peter Kerr Managing Director, MRM
Peter is Managing Director of Multi Resource Marketing Ltd (MRM). His career in Promotional Marketing goes back to the early 80's and he has a rare combination of experience having spent this time working within client, agency and fulfillment organisations. He founded MRM in 1993 and has only recently led this organisation into the HighCo Group where he hopes to fulfill his long held ambition of creating with HighCo a truly European capability across a wide range of promotional marketing techniques and logistics. Peter has sat on the EACA judging panel before as well as being an IPM Awards panel chairman each year, he is also an IPM Diploma examiner for the IPM Education panel. In addition our annual awards were recovered from Haymarket and successfully re-branded year on year and, to bridge the gap in our marketing press coverage, took control of Sales Promotion magazine and with the services sector very much in mind Peter introduced the ISP Certificate, the “Making it Happen awards” (now COGS) and was instrumental in the ARM accreditation scheme.

In 2000, Jamie joined Arc to head up the P&G and MasterCard business for the UK. In recognition of his contribution to the agency, Jamie was promoted to the Board in February 2002, and in December 2004 to Regional Director for EMEA with specific responsibility for P&G and Shopper Marketing. In 2006, Jamie left Arc to set up Initials along with Richard Barrett and Kevin Twittey as Managing Director. Although holding this position in the agency, he works hard to ensure the majority of his time spent adding value to client business. Jamie is also an active member in the industry having been a board director of the MAA for the last ten years, and judged and chaired many awards panels across the MAA, IPM, and Globes Awards. Jamie is CEO of the agency before being appointed to Deputy Chairman of the MAA in 2012.
 
Marcus Sandwith CEO Haygarth
Marcus has 19 years' experience as a retail and brand marketing specialist. His broad range of experience includes working on clients such as Nokia, Tesco, BBC, Reckitt Benckiser and S.C. Johnson. In addition to his responsibilities as CEO at Haygarth, Marcus oversees the agency’s financial planning, new business development and is key in maintaining the overall culture of the agency. When Marcus isn’t running Haygarth, he is a family man with three kids and lives in London.
 
Carey Trevill Managing Director, The Institute of Promotional Marketing
Starting her marketing career in the 90’s with Clarke Hooper, Carey has a long marketing background focussed on promotional marketing and has most recently joined the IPM as its first traditional marketer in the role. Having worked across major brands, sectors and markets, and even making the odd TV ad or two, her work has led to founding an agency, successfully merging and going on to work with a number of businesses preparing for sale. The IPM has long had at its heart the need to champion effective practice across the industry as we strive to grow brands through brilliant work, Carey’s central role is to promote effective work.
