Nele Baeyens MEDIALAAN
After graduating from KU Leuven with a degree in Communications and a Marketing degree from VLEKHO, Nele began her career as Retail Coordinator at the mobile telecommunications operator, Mobistar. In 2001, her passion for media inspired her to start at Sanoma Magazines Belgium as Product Manager Flair, Belgium's largest weekly magazine for young women. Along the way, she also held the position of National Product Manager Flair and Marketing Communications Manager Family at the media group. After 14 years in print media, Nele took the next step in her career and swapped print media for television. In February 2015 she became Head of Marketing Communications TV at multimedia company MEDIALAAN. With her experience and passion for building strong brands, she is now responsible for the corporate brand MEDIALAAN and television brands VTM, 2BE, Vitaya, VTMKZOOM, VTM Koken.
Dephine Baise Head of Sponsoring, Events & Field Communication ING
Delphine is Head of Sponsoring, Events & Field Communication at ING Belgium. She is in charge of sponsoring strategy, negotiations, contracts, planning & budget, evaluation, relations with organisers, brand activation on events, brand visibility and many more. Next to sponsoring, she is also responsible for ING's presence on all mass events (fairs, festivals, sports events, business events, etc.) and for all field activities (guerilla marketing, buzz, street marketing, etc.).
Nathalie Erdmanis Vice-President Marketing Brussels Airlines
After finishing her Master’s Degree in Commercial Engineering at Solvay Business School (ULB) in Brussels, Nathalie started her career at Danone as Brand Marketer. She then went on to work for Winterthur Europe Assurances (AXA group) and later for Spa and Bru mineral water provider, Spadel s.a.. She worked for McDonald's as Marketing & Communications Director for 7 years then she moved to the Telco industry as Marketing Director Residential at Mobistar (Orange Group). Now she is VP Marketing at Brussels Airlines. During her career, Nathalie has received awards such as Nominated Marketer of the Year in 2009 and Media Advertiser of the Year 2009 and won a long term Silver Effie Award for McDonald's in 2012.
Julien Galand Marketing Manager Pepsico
Julien is the marketing lead for Pepsico BeNeLux. He has built his career in sales and then in marketing on brands like Axe, Rexona, Dove, Danio and Solo mainly in Belgium and the Netherlands. He is passionate about brands and loves to see a plan delivering impact and sales in a market. In his spare time, he loves to go kite surfing with his family.
Philippe Hendrickx Head of Sponsoring, CSR & Events Proximus
Philippe is Head of Sponsoring, CSR & Events at Proximus. After having led some key strategic programmes such as the launch of Proximus TV or the acquisition and integration of Scarlet, Philippe took the lead of the sponsoring, CSR & Events department in 2013. For sponsoring, his main focus is the maximisation of the Proximus brand preference through targeted partnerships and powerful activation models.
Stephan Smets Managing Director ENGAGE BBDO
Stephan is Managing Director and Co-founder of ENGAGE BBDO, a member agency of the BBDO Worldwide Network, specialised in brand activation and customer engagement. He started his career at Nestlé where he was responsible for instant drinks (Nescafé, Nesquik) and was later co-founder of N’lil, one of the first sales promotion agencies. He is former president of the Belgian Association of Communications Companies-Expert Center Brand Activation and is now board member of the European IMC council. Stephan Smets is a guest speaker at different marketing and advertising institutions such as the Belgian Marketing Fund, VLEKHO, Ghent University, Plato, 360° Academy and Student Marketing Congress and teaches at the UBA Academy (Federation of Belgian advertisers).

Czech Republic

David Čermák CEO Momentum McCann
David is CEO of Momentum Prague, an advertising agency (part of McCann Worldgroup in the Czech Republic) focused on integrated campaigns supporting clients’ sales. Prior to joining Momentum in 2008, he was founder and co-owner of a leading local agency in Prague. During his 18 years in the advertising industry, he has worked for more than 100 clients from many different business sectors in the Czech Republic. David holds an Executive MBA degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management based in Phoenix, Arizona and a MBA degree from CMI ESMA Barcelona based in Prague and Barcelona.
Ondrej Gottwald New Business Director g-in*
Ondrej works as New Business Director at g-in* agency in Prague. He has been working in advertising for over 16 years. During his career, Ondrej worked in the creative department of TBWA Prague and of Wunderman, part of Young&Rubicam. In 2000, he co-founded the strategic and creative agency Garp, which specialises in integrated marketing and digital communication. For the first 5 years, Ondrej worked there as a Strategic Planner and has now taken over the Business Development department.
Martin Pesta Managing Director Geometry Global
Martin is in charge of the Czech operation of Geometry Global, the largest activation network worldwide and part of the WPP holding group. During his 12 years' marketing experience he focused and specialised in Shopper, Experiential and Sport marketing and Sponsorship. He is enthusiastic about joining brands with emotions, unexpected experiences and digital activations, aiming to inspire people to buy well.
Martin Tosenovský Director Leemon
At only 21, Martin founded his own network of agencies - LEEMON. It was just after he had been awarded a prize for graphic design in the Czech Republic in 2001. He graduated from Tomas Bata University in Zlín with a degree in Multimedia and Design. Nowadays, his services are widely used by important personalities and multinational companies when making key decisions in their strategic planning. Martin's strengths lie on his ability to turn simple solutions into strong conceptual stories. He is not afraid of making radical changes or supporting traditional solutions. He has backed a lot of strategic marketing steps because of his post as a consultant of many institutions in the Moravian-Silesian Region. He is an expert in combining traditional marketing tools and new media.

Peter has been GREYshopper's CEO & Managing Director since July 2012. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of FREY.G2 since 2000 (now GREYgermany). He is a certified Category Manager by GS1 Germany/ECR standards and management boards member of GREYgermany. In 2013, he was elected President of the POS-Marketing Association e.V. (POSMA), the interest group of Germany‘s leading POS marketing agencies. The POSMA is also the national representative of EACA's Integrated Marketing Council (IMC) in Brussels. Beyond these duties, he is also an author of various magazine articles and comments, co-author of "Handbuch Shopper-Marketing" and university lecturer for POS communication and retail.

Lutz Wegmann Managing Director CPM Germany GmbH
Lutz Wegmann started in 1983 as Junior Consultant at Gruber, Titze & Blank in Bad Homburg, Germany - a top-5 German strategy & sales consultancy. In 1986, he joined PPD Marketing & Sales Services, Bad Homburg as Management Supervisor. In 1995, he became Managing Director. Since 1998, PPD is part of the global CPM Fieldmarketing Network based in the UK, an Omnicom Group company. CPM’s mission is to grow its clients' business by using INSIGHT to create INFLUENCE and drive SALES. Since 2007, he is board member and Vice-President of POSMA, an association of German POS Marketing Agencies and partner association of EACA. This year, Lutz was appointed Chair of CPM in Germany, Austria & Switzerland.

Marco holds a BA Degree in Communications from the Academy of Communications in Hamburg. He has worked as an Account Manager and was Managing Director for various German creative agencies like Springer & Jacoby, KNSK/BBDO and Scholz & Friends. Previously, he was Management Supervisor at VCCP in Berlin. He has worked with clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Heineken, Sky, Ferrero, O2 and Telefonica Since 2012, he’s the Managing Director of smartin advertising based in Cologne and Berlin. It’s a below-the-line specialised multichannel agency with a holistic focus on sales and point-of-sale communications. He mainly works with O2, TARGOBANK, LG, Brother and SONOS.


Christos Damalas Managing Director MSPS
Christos is the Managing Partner of MSPS, a leading Integrated Marketing and Sales services company with offices in Greece, Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria. With over 20 years in the industry, Christos has significant experience in managing demanding and complex projects for companies such as Coca-Cola, Samsung, Diageo, Philip Morris, Sony Ericsson and many more. He holds an MBA degree and speaks fluent English and French. He has been a member of the board of directors of the Hellenic Association of Communications Agencies, president of the European Integrated Marketing Communications Council and currently an IMC Council member.

George Frangakis Managing Director ForestView
With data knowledge from hundreds of cross channel campaigns, George is a strategic thinker and true advocate of performance marketing. It is only natural that his marketing approach includes outbound and inbound marketing analysis that spans over a decade of advertising and sales experience. From sales and direct marketing in the UK, he moved to Greece and worked on ISP, private banking and mobile marketing projects with Upstream. In 2011, he joined the Think Digital Group to set up and grow ForestView into a leading performance marketing agency with offices in over 35 countries.
Stavros Kontaktsis Founding Partner avakon+
Stavros holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens but somehow ended up in Digital Advertising. He is a founding partner at avakon+ and he serves as VP and Strategy Director. He started out from web services but the social media revolution lured him to the agency side of Digital Advertising. He has planned and executed award winning campaigns for brands in Greece and abroad. His work includes STR8, FIAT Greece, Alfa Romeo Greece, Media Markt Greece, CYTAMOBILE VOFONE, 3M, Oriflame Greece etc. He lives and breaths digital and he only logs off to go underwater for snorkeling.
Sakis Melissaris General Manager Frank & Fame
Sakis was born in 1972 in Athens. With a BA and a Master's degree in Marketing, he has worked in the advertising sector for over 15 years. His first professional stop was at ADEL Saatchi & Saatchi and then went on to other advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett Athens, Ashley & Holmes world group to name a few. He has always held strategic planning and client handling positions. Sakis is responsible for the successful implementation and execution of advertising campaigns of large international and local companies, both in the public and private sector. His portfolio includes multiple beer brands, projects on telecommunications, entertainment, food products and Greece's international tourism advertising campaign in 2008. He has also contributed to advertising campaigns of social institutions and NGOs. Currently he is the General Manager of Frank & Fame advertising agency.

For almost 15 years, Manos have been creating digital experiences spanned across key industry leaders such as Coca-Cola, L'Oreal, Nestlé & GM. During this period, he was head of interactive design at MRM / McCann Erickson Athens creating award winning digital experiences, driving brand awareness and growth. In 2004, he co-founded re|direct, a full-service digital agency committed to delivering result driven cross media campaigns. Manos currently holds the position of Managing Partner and loves working at the crossroad of strategic insights and disruptive innovation.

Simon has over 20 years' experience in the Below-The-Line Industry in Ireland. He founded InSight Marketing & Brand Services in 2008 with a core focus on creating consumer action and reaction. InSight Marketing specialise in Promotional, Experiential & Shopper Marketing, with a Blue Chip Client List including Unilever, Nestle, PepsiCo, Britvic, Molson Coors, Dr. Oetker and John West amongst others. Simon joined the Board of the Association For Promotional Marketing Consultants (APMC) in 2009 to manage Communications and PR for the APMC and served as Chairman from 2013 to 2015.
Richard Johnson Managing Director Pulse Group Ireland
Richard is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and in a career spanning over 20 years is one of Ireland’s most experienced promotional and relationship marketing consultants. A former chairperson of the APMC in Ireland, Richard has led the team developing the APMC Star Awards into one of the most respected industry awards in Ireland. He has developed and managed local and international campaigns which have won awards in Ireland and in Europe.
Dermot Mulligan Marketing Director Bord Gáis Energy
Dermot is a graduate of the UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business, specialising in Marketing and brings over 18 years' experience across a range of markets including travel, financial services and energy. Dermot currently manages the Marketing division for one of Ireland's leading energy providers which is part of the Centrica group. He is responsible for defining and implementing brand and marketing strategies for the company and over the last number of years Dermot and his team have won over 50 Awards across all marketing disciplines.

Marzia graduated from the University of Pavia with a degree in Political Science where she focused her research on how to measure return on advertising investments. She has always been involved with relationship marketing, including direct marketing, CRM and digital marketing. She is currently Partner of the marketing and relationship agency Relata and of the digital marketing agency Innexa. She is also council member of Assocom (Italian Association of Communications Agencies), executive committee member of Print Power Italia and she is a judge in several jury panels for international and local marketing awards. In addition, she is honorary supporter of Freccia D’Oro (DM & Digital DMA Awards in Italy). Previously, she was Managing Director and Partner of Blue Direct, Ileo and ARC, into the Leo Burnett Group, owner of Blue Direct and Managing Director of direct marketing agency Interaction. Before starting her career in the advertising industry, she worked in marketing in companies such as Ge-Da Spa and Olinet Spa (Olivetti Group).

Graduated in Business Management and specialised in Marketing, Marco has significant experience in many multinational companies such as Unilever, Kraft and Braun. He is currently partner and CEO of InventaCPM, an Italian leading relationship and field Marketing agency founded by him in 1987. InventaCPM is today part of Omnicom, the first communication group worldwide. Marco is also lecturer and trainer at some Master Courses, board member of ASSOCOM, a Past President of IMCC and currently a board member of the European IMC council.

Mariangela is Account Director in InventaCPM since 2004. Before that she was Product Manager for mortgages & loans at Banco Popolare di Verona e Novara. She holds a Degree in Communications Sciences from Universita degli Studi Siena.

Pietro has spent 10 years in the DDB group, working for Rapp Collins, then launching the Italian branch of the Tribal DDB network. During the last year in the group, he supervised the strategic integration of the communications projects for both Rapp Collins, Tribal DDB and DDB. In January 2007, he joined Digital Magics, leading Italian incubator of digital businesses. He is head of strategy and chairman of LiveXtension, the Digital Magics marketing & communications agency, who is very focused on digital creativity, social and direct response media for major Italian clients.

Alvaro Ales has worked as marketer at some of the best known companies in the spirits industry until he founded a Marketing & Communications agency. For 5 years, he was in the Marketing department of Diageo, first in London working for brands such as Croft, Gonzalez Byass and later in Spain for J&B Scotch Whisky. Alvaro also worked for 4 years for Pernod Ricard where he was responsible for marketing brands such as Larios Gin, Jameson and Wild Turkey amongst others. He worked briefly in the telecoms industry as Marketing Vice-President for Telefonica B2B, and then became Marketing Director of Bodegas Luis Caballero, a well-known wine and spirits company in Spain. Currently Alvaro is the Managing Director of 360º Marketing & Communications, an integrated Marketing and Communications agency part of the group Havas, one of the top 5 in its industry in the world.
Juan Ramón Plana Director AAE
Juan Ramon was born in Lerida, Spain on 12 September. He is a lecturer and teacher dedicated to the communications and marketing industry. Previously, he held a managerial position at the Spanish Association of Advertisers.
Carlos Rubio Director General AEACP
Born in Madrid, Carlos has a law degree and diploma in Marketing and Commercial Direction. He is member of Autocontrol Board, the association for Self Regulation Commercial Communications and also of the Advertising Academy. He is also Manager of El Sol, The Latin American Advertising Communications Festival.
Gonzalo Ybarra Managing Director Gruppo Ybarra
Gonzalo graduated from ESIC Business and Marketing School and started working in different companies such as Banesto, Aegon (EEUU) and Supercable. After that, he started working in marketing in the food company, Grupo Ybarra. For the past 8 years, he is the Manager of the department. He is responsible of eight different categories of food products. He developed projects on packaging, consumer research and advertising both locally and internationally. In the last four years, he developed a digital strategy for the Ybarra and La Masia brands.

Fiona Beauchamp Head of Brand Activation Bray Leino
Following a BA Buisness Studies degree, Fiona began her career in Below-The-Line marketing. Over the last 25 years, she has worked with a number of leading brands delivering award-winning multi-channel promotions. Whilst at 141, Fiona headed up the Britvic Soft Drinks account leading a partnership between Robinsons & Disney resulting in bi-annual on-pack offers & retailer activation in addition to the recognised Wimbledon summer promotions. Fiona joined Bray Leino 8 years ago and now heads the brand activation department supporting many clients.
Lisa Bonney Managing Director The Marketing Store
Lisa is Managing Director of the Marketing Store, a global communications agency specialising in changing consumer behaviour. Her career spans more than 20 years working with iconic brands including Vodafone, McDonald’s, Shell, Unilever, Carlsberg and Diageo.
Peter Kerr Managing Director MRM
Peter is Managing Director of Multi Resource Marketing Ltd (MRM). His career in Promotional Marketing goes back to the early 80's and he has a rare combination of experience having spent this time working within client, agency and fulfillment organisations. He founded MRM in 1993 and has only recently led this organisation into the HighCo Group where he hopes to fulfill his long held ambition of creating with HighCo a truly European capability across a wide range of promotional marketing techniques and logistics. Peter has sat on the EACA judging panel before as well as being an IPM Awards panel chairman each year, he is also an IPM Diploma examiner for the IPM Education panel. In addition our annual awards were recovered from Haymarket and successfully re-branded year on year and, to bridge the gap in our marketing press coverage, took control of Sales Promotion magazine and with the services sector very much in mind Peter introduced the ISP Certificate, the “Making it Happen awards” (now COGS) and was instrumental in the ARM accreditation scheme.

Simone moved to London to chase her dream; now has over 20 years of unique marketing and sales experience working with some of the worlds' most innovative and high-performing businesses including Virgin, Sony Pictures and Paramount Pictures. Simone's success is attributed to her amazingly creative ideas, knowledge of global commercial opportunities and excellent ability to appreciate and deliver client requirements. Responsible for the performance and overall strategy of the company, Simone is market savvy and constantly striving to improve services and implement new ideas. Is also known to enjoy a glass of champagne or two, loves street dancing and listening to breakthrough music; and works hard to raise as much money for Cancer Research.
Joanne Varey Managing Director Granby Marketing Services
Joanne has 18 years’ experience in the Marketing Services sector, many of which have been spent at Granby where she has held a role in nearly every area of the business. She is responsible for the planning, implementation and management of some of the UK’s largest promotional marketing campaigns. Joanne has achieved industry honours including an ISP Making It Happen Award and 3 IPM COGS Awards. She acquired Granby through a management buy-out in 2013. She also sits on the Tele-Marketing & Contact Centre Council for the DMA.
